Catharyn A. Baird


Catharyn A. Baird is CEO and Founder of EG and Professor of Business at Regis University, Denver, Colorado. Based on her pioneering work in business ethics, Baird became the first woman to receive the title of full professor in the Division of Business at Regis University. Over the course of her career, Baird has published numerous journal articles. As a highly-sought after speaker on ethics and economic justice, she has been invited to present at both national and regional academic and professional conferences.

Catharyn received her BA in English and MA in Humanities from Pacific Lutheran University. She attended the University of Puget Sound (now Seattle University) school of law. After passing the bar, Catharyn practiced law for ten years before joining the faculty at Regis University. From 1987-1995 she also was in-house counsel for the Colorado Secretary of State, specializing in election law and the primary writer for the revised Colorado Election Code. Over the course of her tenure at Regis, she has held a variety of administrative positions. In 2000 she was named Regis University Faculty Lecturer of the Year.
